MATA has established firm working relations with the Provincial Department of Health, as well as local clinics and hospitals as all the patients assisted by our volunteers are admitted and discharged through Government institutions.

We also work closely with the Provincial and Local Department of Social Services in helping patients to acquire social grants and food supplements for patients. Certain branches were funded by the department during the previous financial year.

Rotary International has continuously participated in the establishment and assisted in the sustainability of community development projects which includes amongst others, the drilling of a borehole at our Spitspunt branch, which will provide water to a population of ±2000 people.

NICDAM assisted us in corporate branding and future funding possibilities.

Over the years the Anglo American Chairman's Fund as well as SASOL have ensured that the social development projects at our Lebohang, Bethal, Secunda and Ogies branches are sustainable by providing generous funding towards this cause.

The provincial structure has received funding from the National Lottery Distribution Trust Fund to partially fund the organisation's overall operations.

For the past 3 years funding for social support for patients for all the organisation's branches was received from a donor who wishes to remain anonymous.
